Silent Power – Digital Portraits

Silent Power is a series of digital portraits created by Laurie CARTOON, exploring contained strength, inner tension, and the power of silence.
Each face is treated like a graphic icon, blending ritual aesthetics, power symbolism, and a contemporary visual language.

Through a minimalist composition and a binary red-and-white palette, these works question posture, restraint, and the impact of the gaze — or its absence.
The strict lines evoke both armor and mask, expressing a tension between vulnerability and control. Silent Power becomes a study of restrained intensity, where painted faces turn into silent icons, standing at the crossroads between ritual codes and fashion photography.
